Yavuz Işık, Chair of the Board of Directors of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, who started his inauguration speech by reprimanding the terrorist attack in Ankara said the following in his remarks regarding the Fair:

“Turkish ready mixed concrete sector has been the leader of the countries in Europe thanks to its present 107 million  cubic-meter  ready mixed concrete  production for the last 7 years and it is the world’s third biggest ready mixed concrete  producer. This leadership brings together substantial  responsibilities as well. We, as Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, are going at it hammer and tongs for the quality production of entire concrete used in our country.

It is possible to ensure quality production and apply the standards only through inspections. The importance of the KGS – Quality  Assurance System established by our Association for this purpose in 1995 is grave because KGS conducts the only effective and efficient inspection in concrete production in our country for the time being. In this scope, KGS carries out inspections without notice, in addition to the onsite inspection of the concrete  production  plants, and sustainability in the production quality is provided thanks only to such inspections. 65 percent of 107 million  cubic-meter  concrete produced in our country is inspected by KGS.
