We work through social and sectoral responsibility to ensure that the concrete produced and used in our country is of high quality and that concrete applications are technically appropriate, environmentally friendly, and safe. In this direction, we organized ERMCO European Ready Mixed Concrete Congresses in 1995 and 2015 and Ready Mixed Concrete Congresses in 2004, 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2017. Considering the success and benefits of our congresses, we started working to organize the Beton 2023 Congress. At the Beton 2023 Congress that we will hold at the Istanbul Expo Center in Yeşilköy on March 15-17, 2023; papers that will contribute to the development of our industry will be presented under the headings of circular economy and sustainability in concrete; Industry 4.0 and digitalization in the ready mixed concrete sector; concrete properties, components, design, and testing; special types of concrete and their applications; concrete pavements and overland concrete safety structures; innovative approaches and products in concrete; quality control of concrete at the production stage and onsite; durability and internal structure properties of concrete; and current issues and structural applications in the ready mixed concrete sector. As in our previous congresses, we aim to contribute to the development of our sector by making sure that new studies are conducted and shared. While the abstracts of papers for our congress continue to arrive, our congress sponsorships are being completed fast.
Alongside congress, Beton 2023 Ready Mixed Concrete, Cement, Aggregate, Construction Technologies, and Equipment Exhibition”, which will be organized by TG Expo and held by our Association, will be the most important common platform regarding the ready mixed concrete sector. In our Exhibition to be held between 15-18 March 2023 in the 9th, 10th, and 11th halls of the Istanbul Expo Center, a wide range of products, particularly concrete plants, construction equipment, trucks and tow trucks, truck mixers, pumps, mold systems, cranes, various concrete chemicals, automation systems, tire and fuel products, and sectoral machinery, in addition to ready mixed concrete and cement equipment will be presented to ready mixed concrete and aggregate producers and construction builders. Our companies started to take their place fast in our Exhibition, which will bring together many companies from the construction sector, which is the locomotive of the economy, and ready mixed concrete sector, its most fundamental branch, as well as related sectors under the same roof.
As you know, we will experience the happiness and pride of celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Republic, which was declared by our Honorable Nation as a result of its unprecedented victory in its history under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in 2023. We invite our researchers, sector members, and all our friends who provide services and materials to our sector to participate in Beton 2023, which we organized on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, and follow the latest developments.
