Turkish ready-mixed concrete and cement company “AKÇANSA”, a joint venture of Sabanci Holding and HeidelbergCement,was awarded with the “CSC Certificate" at the level “Gold” for its Çanakkale Cement Plant. Certifying its Büyükçekmece and Çanakkale Cement Plants and its Gebze and Kemerburgaz Ready-Mixed Concrete Plants, AKÇANSA has proved the commitment of the company to the international sustainability standards.
AKÇANSA Çanakkale Cement Plant has been certified in Turkey in accordance with the “CSC Certification System” by the Turkish Ready-Mixed Concrete Association (THBB), Regional System Operator of the CSC. The certificate at the level “Gold” has been issued by the Economic Enterprise of KGS, Certification Body of the CSC.
AKÇANSA (Betonsa) Gebze Ready-Mixed Concrete Plant was the first ready-mixed concrete plant, its Büyükçekmece Cement Plant was the first cement plant to receive “CSC Certificates” in Turkey in 2018. AKÇANSA Kemerburgaz Ready-Mixed Concrete Plant was the first ready-mixed concrete plant to receive CSC Certificate at the level GOLD in 2019.
