“This year, we organized second Blue Helmet Occupational Safety and Health Awards. Why do we arrange to the contest? Because construction industry is an industry which has a lot of work accident and the sector of ready mixed concrete is one of the main branches of construction sector. Nearly 30 thousand people work in ready mixed concrete industry which is in the scope of “Regulations of Heavy and Dangerous Duties” and “dangerous classes”. In recent years, fast growing with many issues for ready-mixed concrete industry in Occupational Safety and Health issues is of paramount importance .The companies which took part in the contest have caught on the way to correct the deficiencies service as conceptually businesses security and relevant legislation’s situation. As a result of the assessment made here today, 10 ready mixed concrete plants took Blue Helmet Occupational Safety and Health Awards. Deemed worthy of receiving this award today qualified facilities congratulate all the companies to open their facilities invite our control. "
In the contest which all facilities able to take in, awarded and inspected by expert auditors in May and June of the 2013 year took their awards from Yavuz Isık who is THBB Chairman of the Board. Plaque of appreciation was presented to the auditors.

Construction Sector is the sector which has a lot of severe work accidents.
