Dear Members and Esteemed Stakeholders, As the representative organization of the ready mixed concrete industry, one of the fundamental pillars of the construction sector, we continue to carry out our activities with determination and commitment.
In June, a delegation comprising members of our Board of Directors participated in a meeting organized by the General Directorate of Vocational Services of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding the provision on the “supply of concrete to unlicensed structures” under the Law on Amendments to the Land Registry Law, Certain Other Laws, and Decree Law No. 375. During the meeting, we exchanged views on the procedures and implementation principles to be followed within the scope of the forthcoming circular.
Meanwhile, the certification activities of the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), which was introduced to Türkiye through the efforts of our Association, continue to gain momentum. Following audits conducted by KGS, the Certification Body of the CSC, Akçansa Cement Çanakkale Plant was recertified at the Gold level, Nuh Cement Hereke Plant was recertified at the Bronze level, and Limak Cement Balıkesir Plant successfully obtained the CSC Certificate at the Gold level. I sincerely congratulate our valued members Akçansa, Nuh Cement, and Limak Cement on these significant achievements. I also take this opportunity to encourage all companies committed to environmentally responsible production and sustainability to become part of the CSC ecosystem.
