We continue our certifications under the Certification System of the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), which was implemented in Türkiye by our association. As a result of the audits conducted by KGS, the Certification Body of the Concrete Sustainability Council, Limak Çimento Güvercinlik Plant was certified at the ‘Gold’ level. This makes the plant one of the first six ready-mixed concrete plants in Türkiye to hold this level of certification. The Tuzla Plant of İSTON, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has been recertified at the ‘Silver’ level. İSTON's Hadımköy Plant, which operates with a focus on sustainability, serves with a CSC Certificate at the ‘Platinum’ level. I congratulate our valued member Limak Çimento and İSTON. On this occasion, I once again invite all companies in the ready-mixed concrete, cement, aggregate and precast sectors that produce in an environmentally conscious manner and focus on sustainability to join this system.
With our Triple Transformation project, we have achieved another first in the sector. Our Triple Transformation Project brings together green transformation, digital transformation, and human/cultural transformation. The logistics-focused triple transformation approach stands out both for its easy applicability and for significantly increasing operational efficiency. Our companies operating in the ready-mixed concrete, cement, and aggregate sectors achieve significant gains in energy and cost savings, increased efficiency, digital traceability, and sustainability when they implement this project.
