Dear esteemed members and esteemed representatives of our sector. We keep on working for the improvement of our sector. In recent months, we made significant progress in terms of our endeavors on professional competence. As you know, our of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association Center for Professional Competence (THBB MYM) has continued its works since 2016, the year it was accredited for conducting certification and examination regarding the national competencies for Reinforced Concrete Ironmongers and Concretors. Lastly, THBB MYM was accredited by Professional Competence Authority (MYK) for holding examinations and providing certifications for Concrete Pump Operators. There has been a documentary confusion experienced for many years in terms of evidencing by concrete pump operators of their professional competence in the ready mixed concrete sector that takes place in the hazardous class (and very hazardous class in some cases) pursuant to the Nr. 6331 Occupational Health and Safety Act. The fact that such confusion will be solved by means of a Certificate of Professional Competence that will be granted from now on was welcomed extremely contentedly in the eyes of our sector. We expect your personnel to make applications to THBB MYM in order to receive a Certificate of Professional Competence for Concrete Pump Operators for working in keeping with occupational safety rules and for not encountering problems.
