Concrete's technical and technological properties have an important impact on many aspects of building sustainability throughout its whole lifecycle. A holistic approach is required in performance assessment, by means of taking all important and related aspects of sustainability, both environmental and economic, into account. Accordingly, as THBB, we have prepared the “The Ready Mixed Concrete Lifecycle Guidebook'' to raise awareness of the ready mixed concrete sector and its stakeholders regarding the new environmental approaches that affect today's business models, particularly the circular economy, lifecycle analysis, lifecycle cost, and environmental product declaration. This guidebook became the first one that evaluates the lifecycle in the construction sector and in the field of construction materials and demonstrates the state of the sector with data. Our guidebook has the aspect of being an exemplary lodestar for not only the ready mixed concrete sector and its stakeholders but also all individuals and institutions who want to get informed about the lifecycle. We envision that the guidebook will be a source of reference for many academicians and students who will study on this subject in not only the civil engineering but also architecture and environmental engineering departments of universities.
