The names of ready mixed concrete plants that were seen worthy of receiving awards at the “3rd Green Point Environment Competition” organized by Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA) to encourage production and service that is friendly to the natural and urban environment in ready mixed concrete sector, were announced.
As a result of the inspections carried out among the participating institutions, Edremit Plant of Betonsa, Tuzla Plant of Nuh Beton and Hadımköy Plant of Onur Beton earned the right to receive the “3rd Green Point Environment Awards.” The facilities that also received the “3rd Green Point International Environment Representative Award” represented Turkey at the ceremony held on 8 June 2007 in the framework of 15th European Ready Mixed Concrete Congress organized by ERMCO in Seville, Spain on 4-8 June 2007, and received plaquettes.
