Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s 4th Green Point Environmental Awards Find Their Winners Organized by Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (THBB) in order to promote the production and services in the ready mixed concrete sector that are compatible with nature and urban environment, the winning firms of the 4th Green Point Environmental Awards Contest were granted their awards in a ceremony held. The ceremony held on 14 June 2012 in Istanbul was participated by the THBB Members and press representatives. The ceremony was commenced with the introductory film of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association. Subsequent to the introductory film, Ayhan Güleryüz, Chairman of the Executive Board of THBB, made a speech and gave information about the Green Point Environmental Awards. Providing information regarding how the ready mixed concrete plants that took part in the contest were subject to an inspection, Ayhan Güleryüz continued his speech as follows; “Environmental Criteria are one of the most important membership conditions of our association. All our members carry out their productions in accordance with the THBB Environmental Inspection List. Today, our members carry out the production both complying with the quality standards and using the environmentally sensitive technologies.
