The ready mixed concrete sector showed a growth along with our country and produced 107 million cubic meters of concrete in 2014. The urban transformation projects, high speed train, dam, bridge and passage projects kept our sector alive. While our sector is growing, our colleagues involved in the Quality Assurance System exerted their efforts to ensure that every single building is quality by inspecting 65% of the concrete produced in 2014.
The Turkish ready mixed concrete sector has been ranking first in the concrete production in Europe for exactly 5 years. This success is of course on the radar of our European colleagues as well. THBB (Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association) has been included in the Presidency Committee, which has a significant role in the formation of ERMCO policies for the first time in 23 years.
